About
Hi, I'm Hannah ten Cate
I’m an American international who has called the Amsterdam area home for over five years. Before moving to the Netherlands, I spent a decade in the U.S. working in sales and recruitment with international companies. Since relocating, I’ve earned a Master’s degree in Political Science from the University of Amsterdam and have supported hundreds of internationals through advocacy and support organisations like ACCESS and IN Amsterdam.
I founded NetherNav to empower fellow newcomers who find the process of settling in and integrating into Dutch life overwhelming. While there are plenty of resources and organisations out there, it’s not always easy to know where to start—or which ones are right for you.
That’s where I come in. I’ve been through this journey myself and have done the legwork, so you don’t have to. Together, we’ll create a personalized, step-by-step plan tailored to your needs. I offer both coaching and hands-on consulting to guide you through the key stages of your transition — whether that’s navigating housing, healthcare, schooling, the job market, or simply adjusting to Dutch culture.
Curious about how I can help? Take a look at my Services page or book a free introductory call. I’d love to support you in building a confident, fulfilling life here in the Netherlands.
